CDC: Critical Defect Countermeasure An issue which DISCO has determined is extremely important for safety. DISCO service staff will contact customers who own applicable products. Repairs are performed proactively based on the customer’s schedule.
SDC: Serious Defect Countermeasure An issue which is not CDC and may damage the equipment or have a substantial impact on production.
MDC: Minor Defect Countermeasure An issue which is not CDC or SDC and has a low probability of occurrence due to limited conditions or a has a low impact when it occurs. DISCO service staff will contact customers who own applicable products. Repairs are performed when products malfunction or the customer requests it.
